I just called him and confirmed that he did complete the LDS Account creation by clicking on the link in the email. Then he got a followup email indicating that his LDS account creation was complete. This happened on April 29th.
What is our next step to get this corrected?

There is a couple in my ward who are in the process of filling out there online papers for a mission. When they logged in recently it told them that they needed to create an new LDS account. They followed the link and did so. Now when they try to log into the Online Missionary Recommendation System ...

So I assume by your response that the backup the Finance clerk does and the standard MLS backup are the same thing. We have not changed the clock at any time. I learned from another Wards bad experience that changing the clock is a bad thing. I have seen this urgent message come up a few times, and ...

MLS Backups - Finance and Membership difference

I am a little confused about MLS backups. It is my understanding that before MLS came along that the membership and finance data was stored and backed up separately, but now with MLS they are combined into the same system. My question is that if they are in the same system, then why do I get the Uge...

If you to a CTRL-ALT-DEL on the computer which brings up the Windows task Mgr and look at the performance tab, then look under the PF Usage you will see how much memory your computer is trying to use. If it is using More memory than you have installed, then your computer is paging/thrashing and that...

Just because the modem is 56K doesn't mean the internet connection will be 56K. If your internet connection is with the phone company, ask them about geting DSL. 'blazing 26K' is actually 'snail paced 26K' from the 90s, hince your internet connection is slow! DSL is like a jet, while dial-up is a h...

I assume that in most cases the need to use a backup would probably stem from hard drive failure, and therefore preclude restoring the data from the hard drive. I backup every week to one of a set of 10 floppies that are rotated weekly and are kept in the office, and also to a flash drive that I ke...

Dial-up connection speed issue

I am new to this position, so excuse me if I ask a question that is covered somewhere else. I have noticed that most of the computers in the Stake when they dial-up and connect to the Churches site for transmitting their MLS data connect at a blazing 26K, and I believe all the computers have 56k mod...

Moving out records, same address.

This question comes from two different directions. One: When the membership clerk from a singles ward wants to move out one of their members back to their Home ward and the member has the SAME address and PHONE, is there a way to move the records WITHOUT having to retype this information and to just...
