Re: Household Visibility Limit:

To change the household visibility limit: Log into ward directory for your unit. Select the family and then the "Edit" tab above the family name on the right of the screen.
I think you must be a member of the bishopric or clerk to have access to more than just your own record.

Re: Members Missing from LDS Tools

I know this forum has no power to make the change. But maybe a better awareness and a few complaints will get it changed. As a stake clerk, I heard about this problem from several people in the stake.

Re: Members Missing from LDS Tools

I don't agree that is is reasonably clear. That is the whole point. The whole description is about visibility of each part and then the household setting over rides those individual settings. So I say it is not clear at all that your record will become invisible. I think the more reasonable interpre...

Re: Members Missing from LDS Tools

The description and operation of the Household visibility limit is not consistent. The help states: "The Household Visibility Limit sets the maximum visibility for any part of your household information. For example, suppose your household phone is set to Stake, but the Household Visibility Lim...

Re: Members Missing from LDS Tools

Thank you. That explains why some members can't be seen. I don't think that is at all clear in the explanations of the settings.

Re: Members Missing from LDS Tools

Odds are the "missing" members have their privacy settings in the Directory set such that they only appear to leaders, or members of their own ward. A clerk can change that, but it should not be done without the permission of the members involved. This is far worse in countries with stric...

Re: Restrictions on Assistant Clerk - Membership

Has this situation been corrected yet? Is there a way to put a priest in as Assistant ward clerk for membership?

Re: Custom Calling available in LCR?

I found out why the "other" sub-category does not show up in Other callings: This is what I learned from tech support. Basically the callings categories don't show up unless they are populated. "There's a limitation on LCR currently. Because this suborg only exists if they have custom...

Re: Custom Calling available in LCR?

I will have the clerk see if he has access to this plus sign for the Other Callings category. You should be able to add a custom calling. Make sure you go to Organizations and select "Other Callings" from the list of organizations. There will be another "Other Callings" at the b...
