Re: Calendar 3.0 released
Thanks, CrockettDR! Is there any HOPE of getting the "setup" and "cleanup" times to again show on the Calendar? One idea I had is that you could add an icon on LDSTools that was "Building" so anyone could see that the building was in use or not. Right now, it ONLY shows...

Re: Calendar - events not visible
Okay, calmed down now :-) I tried reducing the number of Calendar layers showing AND reducing the "zoom" level in my browser. Neither works. I would have to reduce the Calendar Layers to practically just the particular event I was looking for ~ which defeats the purpose of the View. Reduci...

Re: Search Method for calendar text
As the Stake Calendar Specialist with responsibility for Ward Calendar Specialists in 7 Wards and the training of Bishoprics and new Presidencies throughout the Stake, I find it incredibly frustrating that an Event cannot be found on the Calendar using a simple Search. FamilySearch is SO advanced in...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released
Well, you could solve the "crashes" by just showing the Event as a "Jones Family Event." In my Stake, I created a STAKE-LEVEL "Family Events" Calendar so those trying to check potential building availability with the (so far un-syncable) LDSTools, are able to see that ...

Re: Calendar 3.0 released
Oh, yes, we've said that many a time; "If it's not on the Calendar, it's not happening!" Then ... you have two groups show up intending to use the building at the same time. That leads to many hard and hurt feelings. That's why I believe we need Ward Level and Stake level "Calendar Sp...

Re: Calendar - events not visible
P.S. Since you said this is NOT a Forum for letting the IT group know about the Calendar's shortcomings, can you tell me HOW to do that? NONE of the Submit buttons for Calendar Feedback have worked all day. (I'd guess it might be on purpose since they are likely being completely overwhelmed by actua...

Re: Calendar - events not visible
Well, the suggestion to cut down on the number of Calendars that show up in the Month View is NOT a viable option. No. 1, because I am responsible for the Entire Stake and its buildings and Calendars. Plus, it completely does away with the option to take a look to see what day MAY be available for a...

Re: Ward Website Administrator Access Privledges
Could you still go ahead and tell us WHAT rights the Ward Website Administrator has? In fact, it's a BIG issue for the Calendar in our Stake that the Leader & Clerk database, where the Clerks determine which Calling to list for the person called, does not have any kind of a list showing rights o...

Re: Setup/Cleanup time not showing
This has become a HUGE problem in our Stake! People are looking at the Calendar, seeing "open times" and making plans before they get it on the schedule. This has been an especially big problem with Bishops meeting with families to schedule funerals ~ just to find that the location was alr...
