The issue of the tip is not to prevent priesthood leaders from identifying those individuals that want their needs from being addressed with sensitivity and care. The tip is not addressing or readressing the permissability of DO NOT CONTACT lists. It is stating the procedures that are acceptable in...

Hmm...
I also have some concerns about this message. I'm a little bit concerned about the fact that the message cites no authority. (There's a reason why many communications come from the first presidency.) This thread speaks of the message as a "tip", but this does not seem accurate, as it is no...

Never Mind

FamilySearch Indexing Bug
I have found that FamilySearch Indexing fails to function when Java Advanced Imaging ImageIO Tools 1.1 is installed. (This is a Java add-on which expands Java's ability to read and write to various image formats. It can be found at: https://jai-imageio.dev.java.net/ ) Having recently reinstalled the...

It struck me that Family Search Indexing was rather a...

The bottom line is while the current system is a hassle for members who move, it is true to the KISS principle. Whatever it is, its not KISS. KISS isn't about simply making fewer features, its about not adding features that make a system more of a pain to deal with. It's about one aspect of that ba...

One thing I do wish the church would add is the syncronization of tithing reports of your account accross the church. That would make it so at tithing settlement you do not have to worry about getting a statement from every ward you were in, but it would all be at your current ward. (In addition it...

The license is pretty short. It doesn't seem to directly prohibit redistribution (at least, if it's not commercial in nature). Then again, it doesn't expressly grant permission either. I'm not sure what the prevailing legal doctrine is in such cases. Personally, I redistribute PAF a lot. I suppose I...
