Re: In-person donation entry in LCR

I tried their resolution steps yesterday on the stuck batch and still had the same issue. I talked with support today and they were told the issue was resolved with a June 16 release but that did not fix it for us. They are now asking us to re-enter it in MLS to get the batch closed (they can't clos...

Re: In-person donation entry in LCR

Update: I got a call back from support stating there have been more calls this morning from other units reporting the same problem. They have escalated the issue.

In-person donation entry in LCR

Our stake was selected as a trial/beta group for the new donation entry in LCR. I wanted to share a couple of thoughts after 2 weeks trying it. Week 1, no problems at all. Week 2, could not finalize the batch approvals. 1. It is simpler and will be a good thing when it works reliably. 2. It is buggy...

Re: "Send a Message" Function on LCR

Sorry for not clarifying - the message comes through entirely blank where it isn't displayed - not formatted incorrectly or not as a link. That said, it looks like if I use the "Link" tool to embed it as an HTML link it works. Thx for the pointer - a bit annoying (since this is reoccurrin...

It looks like it (in glancing at the access table).

Re: "Send a Message" Function

I find "Send a Message" so handy in my calling as Relief Society President! However, I am puzzled as to why the format it looks like it's in when I send it, is not the format it looks like when it's received. For example, I leave a line space between paragraphs. That is what I see when I ...

Re: Out of Unit Baby Blessing Best Practices

From General Handbook 18.6 provides guidance. "Exceptions to the typical place of the child’s blessing must be approved by the bishop. Possible exceptions include ... blessings in another ward where the child’s grandparents or many family members live; and blessings in the home." "Be...

Re: Class And Quorum Attendance

Looking for advice on how to report attendance for the ward when we were unaware of this app AND no one entered info through the Tools app AND quarterly reports are past due with no ability to correct stats. Any suggestions? As Dave said, you only need one attendance marked for the month of March f...

Re: Baptism / confirmation consent form?

Why does the church not have a link with the baptism consent form right in the section where we are entering the info into the clerk and leaders website? So... I take it we have to email a full baptism ordinance form and have the dad complete it and then scan or take a picture of it on their phone ...

Re: Ward Youth Fundraiser: Using Venmo

I had this same question and searched to find this thread. As more people go cashless, this will come up more often.... especially in scenarios where the donation/funds are coming from the general public (not a ward member). In some ways Venmo actually creates a digital paper trail where cash does n...
