Re: Key Indicators & Family History Report - 1st 4 generations
I believe the minimum age for having an account is 13. So, we can leave the primary alone. 13 is the minimum for creating an account on your own, but members age 8-12 can create an account with parental permission. Still, that leaves open the question when someone is added to the denominator when c...

Re: Key Indicators & Family History Report - 1st 4 generations
A basic question...given the new focus approach to having up to the 4th generation complete to members who have an active FamilySearch account, my question is simple: Is a member everyone baptized? If yes, then the newest 8yr old member would need to start constructing his/her tree to affect this d...

Re: Change in Family Activity report ?
Aebrown may correct me (and I welcome correction if it is needed), but my interpretation is: if they don't have a FamilySearch account, they don't have 4 generations in their family tree (in FamilySearch). This involves more than just creating an account. They will have to create an account and the...

Re: How to respond to The Change in FHAR
If such a member simply signs up for a FamilySearch account, will that member then be included in the new metric? If not, what must they do to be included? They need more than a FamilySearch account. They must have 4 generations in their tree after they get their FamilySearch account. The Temple an...

Re: How to respond to The Change in FHAR
If they use their FamilySearch account credentials, then make sure that they have the correct account. Some people have inadvertently created more than one FamilySearch account, but only one can be connected to their Church membership record. To verify that your FamilySearch account is connected to...

Re: How to respond to The Change in FHAR
How does this all fit with the ability to sign into FamilySearch using one's Church Account? Is a Church Account and a FamilySearch account the same as far as this metric is concerned, or do they specifically need a FamilySearch account? And if it is the latter, then do they need to ignore the &quo...

Re: Change in Family Activity report ?
Thank you for the clarification. In our ward, it was about 20% drop. You're welcome. Note also that in the last hour or so, a Help Center article was created that explains the change (note that in order to see this article, you have to be signed in to FamilySearch with an account that shows you are...

Re: Change in Family Activity report ?
I'm trying to picture how this might have worked (assigning trees to members without an account to link them back to the ward)- Assuming a family of 4 with the wife being the one who did her 4-gen: previously her children would have been "credited" with having done at least the maternal h...

Re: Change in Family Activity report ?
I noticed today when reviewing the family activity report for our stake that % of members who have completed the first 4 generations has just dropped to 1/2 of what it used to be. This statistically does not make sense so my assumption is that the criteria to determine this or the programming has c...
