Re: Updating Meeting Times

johnpapworth@gmail.com, did you check and see how long it took for the new time to appear? We often get questions like this on the Forum, but once it gets resolved we usually don't get a follow-up response that future Forum members can reference. So if it took a day (or three), let us know!

Re: Audit requirements when providing rent assistance...where do I find them?

an invoice, proof the member still lives there and proof the amount owed has not yet been paid will be required Since these three items (how much rent is, member lives there, and rent has not yet been paid) are all things a Bishop should know for sure before paying anything anyways, my default resp...

Re: Reporting attendance for Quarterly reports

Also, the Quarterly Report FAQ has the same info regarding attendance for those with ward/stake callings. A different forum thread asked if you need to verify each week that the member is actually at church in their other calling, my opinion is that it's fine for you as EQ secretary to assume that a...

Re: Facilities Question

We struggled to convince our FM guys to get rid of junk in our storage shed (we were told we could just dispose of it ourselves if we desired), so at least any general push hadn't made it to our neck of the woods when we went through this recently... ;)

Re: Mel. Priesthood Ordination before 18 years old

I'd also ensure that whatever led to this occurring, is properly resolved. Both the Stake President and Bishop should be aware of this policy (must be 18 prior to Melch Priesthood and Temple), but perhaps they didn't know this was a fixed rule. Or perhaps they didn't think to verify the birthdate pr...

Re: Tv in bishops office

Not sure if this clears up anything, but I am aware of this Meetinghouse Technology FAQ: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/help/support/meetinghouse-policy?lang=eng 7.5 Installation 7.5.1 Physical modifications to a meetinghouse, including the mounting of televisions, cameras, digital projectors, ...

Re: New Reimbursement Function

... the current LCR Finance application (and now the Tools function) delivers the reimbursement request directly to the ward/stake clerk, bypassing the organization leader As jdlessley stated, general members cannot do this. However, an org counselor could submit the reimbursement request, which in...

Re: Attendance for those with callings in other organizations or as stake officials

No need to contact anyone. To me intent of this portion of the FAQ is to lift this exact burden from clerks/secretaries. A sister who has a Primary calling can be marked down as attending RS or SS each week, without any need to check if they were home sick. Same with a brother who has a Stake callin...

Re: Callings app or Software?

If leaders are not satisfied with the way LCR, the Tools app, and the Directory display callings..... I think the Church is unlikely to provide this type of "sticky-note" capability, to help leaders as they consider how to manage the domino-effect of potential changes. I echo the concern ...
