Re: IP based Stake Conference solution
If we switch to IP based cameras will there be a noticeable video delay? You will definitely see more lag than you are now. Standard definition video using the RCA jacks is routed around your stake center very close to real time. IP cameras have a lot of work to do to get a video signal from A to B...

Sure, that would tame the length of it, perhaps helping some (older) email clients keep from breaking it into multiple lines.

Re: How to Notify Ward Members of 2nd Hour Links?
One thing I wonder about is how well something like Google Docs would be. You don't really need a website, just need a static place to park a link that you can update every week. I just don't know how well that would work under the load of the membership hitting it all at the same time on Sunday. G...

Re: IP based Stake Conference solution
Are your overflow areas isolated from the live audio coming from the chapel? I ask because something like a projector setup in the attached gym is very difficult to do with a setup like yours due to video lag from each step (IP cameras, OBS, even the projector.) If you're thinking of piping your sig...

Re: Webcast Encoder URL update - Release Notes
Should we switch to YouTube for all our broadcasts? I'm in the process of doing exactly that for our stake. Our worship service Zoom webinars had the HD 720P settings switched on and the audio processing off, but still suffered from obvious bandwidth limitations by Zoom. These included low frame ra...

Re: Download statistics after a webcast
Probably moot anyway now that we've been asked to move to other platforms.

The church's newly added reporting system may satisfy most of the current needs for webcast attendance reporting. Not that your efforts aren't appreciated.

Re: Tabernacle Choir Music for Stake Conference?
I recently got my first copyright notice from YouTube for a funeral I helped webcast. YouTube notice.jpg The notice also said, "The Content ID claim on your video doesn't affect your channel. This is not a copyright strike." Basically, they want to make sure I wasn't making money off the s...

Re: Single Adult Ward
Looking for a 45 + Singles Ward near Spartanburg, South Carolina. I looks like they only have the Greenville Young Single Adult Ward , but nothing for 45+ singles. If you type an address into the above link's search bar (on the left), it will show you which family ward is associated with that addre...

Re: Zoom HD
They are limiting for everyone yes, however, they state on the page you linked that those who have an enterprise license can request for this limitation to be lifted and I was wondering if that has been done or not. I can't definitively answer that. I've run webinars in 720p, so I have to assume ev...
