Re: Zoom Meeting: Virtual Attendee Volume Issues
Thanks for everyone's suggestions, @Russellhltn I did wind up buying the device you recommended above. I did find a USB Microphone that I use as a back up mic in case there are audio issues with the record out port on the podium, this USB mic has a switch on it that will boost by audio by 10db which...

Zoom Meeting: Virtual Attendee Volume Issues
We have been using Zoom successfully for our Sacrament meetings and Sunday School meetings. People on the phone sometimes complain about static or low volume, mostly when connecting with mobile devices. They can hear other Zoom participants really well just not the podium microphone that is coming f...

Microsoft Teams for Wards and Stakes
Does the church provide access to wards or stakes Office 365 accounts? Our ward uses a variety of tools to manage the ward council, none of them connect well or encourage collaboration between groups. Before I buy an Office subscription for our ward I wanted to see if the church has plans outside of...

Staging ministering brothers assignments
With then new change of having one quorum of elders we are working on revamping companionship’s and families asssignments. We are doing it in excel because I believe if we make changes in LDS.org that the changes will be live and not have had a chance to get bishops approval first. Is there a way to...

LDS Calendar won't update
For the last few days I have been unable to successfully edit or create new meetings/events in the LDS calendar. All works well until I click on Update or Create, all I see if a spinning circle as though it is trying to update or create a meeting. I've let the spinning wheel run for about an hour wi...

Re: Sending Messages to All Adult Members
Thanks Gary I agree in theory, its a single sheet, double sided. On the back it classifies the youth so that the ward can connect better with them and know which classes they will be in, shows baptisms, etc. If only LDS tools could do that we wouldn't print it. While I'm on LDS tools, would be nice ...

Re: Sending Messages to All Adult Members
Is there a recommendation then to set all members to "Stake" level? Can you elaborate more on what issues you've seen when set to "Ward" level? We are about to print our 2014 directory and so we'll be going through the directory and can make the change where appropriate (with per...
