Privacy Error // portal.ldswebcast.org SSL expired 9/1
The wildcard SSL cert used on the webcast portal has expired. Hopefully it gets renewed soon :) If you're on chrome, you can click "Advanced" in the bottom left of the scary warning page, followed by clicking "https://portal.ldswebcast.org/#/startevent" Unknown if this issue will...

Re: Access to LCR Ward Clerk-Membership
Can the Ward Clerk login to LCR and verify that you are both listed in the calling and set apart? I don't know for certain that a set apart is required for access, but it seems to not be a problem for those who have. Right now LCR is kind of the authority for callings (I don't think MLS is allowed t...

Re: Request: Member email preference management from LCR
Yea, we did some testing yesterday and I learned what you guys already know: That you can't opt-out from that system at all. That's really unfortunate, since the wording on "Official Church Announcements" is "Important Church announcements, initiatives and messages from General Author...

Request: Member email preference management from LCR
Hopefully this is the right forum, couldn't locate anything specifically for feature requests. It would be very helpful for clerks to manage subscription settings (at least, opt-out?) for members, possibly adding the following fields located at https://ldsaccount.lds.org/subscriptions into a tab on ...

LCR MP Ordination form fields blank when submitted from Ward to Stake
Hi, one of our ward clerks submitted a High Priest ordination for a member last Sunday. The person performing the ordination was from outside our Stake. When I (Stake Clerk) received the notice of the ordination, I can see the proposed member and priesthood office. However, the fields for Ordination...

Re: Feb 14th NW Broadcast
Our Stake Tech Specialists (and judging by the load failure, those of other stakes as well) were advised by global support to stream the satellite feed to our Internet stream receiving meeting houses. They were advised this when they called to receive the regional broadcast url to provide to our non...

Re: Feb 14th NW Broadcast
Similar catastrophic failure. We broadcast from our stake center receiving via satellite and everything worked fine until 9:50am pacific where our remote buildings encountered looping and buffering. This escalated by 10:10am to complete failure of streams and inability to even to connect to the lds ...

Custom firewall rule?
What are the chances of being able to request a custom firewall rule for the meeting Houses in my stake? The situation is that our stake is really fond of the convenience of using apple tv to present content over AirPlay. As stake clerk with a tech career, I think the devices are pretty handy but th...

Excellent! Yes, I used the wrong words in a few instances (Tithing Summary Statement meaning Tithing Settlement Statement, tithing opposed to donations to Ward Missionary fund, etc). Sorry, I'm still kind of a newbie :) Thanks for the assistance on using a Year to Date Donation Summary, that sounds ...

Tithing Statement for someone in different ward
A member of another ward gives tithing to our Bishop to apply to the Missionary fund of one of the Elders in our ward. One of our Bishopric Councillors has requested a Tithing Summary Statement for this user, however they don't show up in the list of people in the Individual or Household Statement s...
