Re: Privacy Settings - App shuts down HELP

I'm a Ward Clerk and am experiencing this issue. A member of our bishopric is as well. Both of our devices were using the iOS version. I haven't had any others test it at this point in time.

My device info:

Device: iPhone SE 2020
iOS version: 15.1
App version: 4.5.0 (7601)

Re: Custom report/user privileges questions

As far as I can tell, anyone can create a custom report. Viewing a custom report requires sufficient privileges to view in the information in the report. If the report does not have any confidential information then someone with Organization privileges can view it. If it has birth date, ordinance i...

Custom report/user privileges questions

Hello All, I was asked by the Elders Quorum 2nd Counselor to create a specific report that I had some difficulty trying to create. I have a few questions, however. 1. In order to grant someone the privileges to create custom reports, do you need to give them "Edit Membership" privileges? I...

Way to prevent certain individuals from showing up in rolls/lists in MLS?

There are a couple of situations where people have asked about excluding certain individuals from showing up in certain rolls or lists. One example is a member who is considered accountable, but whose disabilities will prevent him from ever going on a mission or being ordained to the priesthood (his...

Callings gone missing in MLS but still exist

Hello, Some strange occurrences have been happening in our MLS system with callings disappearing. We assigned an individual to the calling of Choir Director when it was supposed to be Music Director. However, I could no longer find the person's calling of Choir Director in MLS--not under Other Calli...

As aebrown stated, some of the church mail systems use Google Apps, but there is no 'partnering' going on. As for the calendar (which I work on), we wish there was partnering with Google. They probably have an order of magnitude (or more) more resources on their calendar than we do on ours. Though ...

Here's the missing response (we had some technical difficulties with the earlier thread, so it's no longer available, but I am able to reproduce the post): Thanks so much for providing that--it is definitely appreciated! I understand the Church has been using GMail for some of it's systems. Such as...

Partnering with Google?

Hello all, I heard that the Church has partnered with Google (to some degree) in the development of Church software, such as using Google Calendar as the basis for the new stake/ward calendar. Is this true? Thanks much in advance. Note: Apologies to the person who responded to the first version of t...
