Re: End of Webcasting in July 2022: Please transition to Zoom
The church is shifting it's investment from webcasting to Zoom's webinar features because Zoom provides both a webinar feature and a much needed interactive meeting functionality which neither Youtube nor webcasting provides. With this shift what recommended updates need to be made so that we can e...

Re: Bishop's Schedule added to LDS tools /LDS.org
we use Calendly the same way it is super awesome... it would be awesome if there was functionality defined by calling and custom calendars that integrated into the member tools and gospel living app calendars so that bishoprics can really have a single pane of glass for their schedule. especially wi...

Re: Church Zoom Account - Multiple Users?
@jacobstimpson, how do you share the host key? I had the same question, so I did some research. Using the ward account, go to profile and scroll down to "Host Key". It will be near the bottom. Click "show". Exactly.... and you can change it anytime... So should something get out...

Re: Church Zoom Account - Multiple Users?
I have not sent the password out to anyone for our zoom account. I am however sharing the "host key" this allows them to start the meeting and adopt it as the host without having to authenticate.
@andrewjorgensen this may solve your problem.

Re: Lehi SSID
Is anyone aware if the lehi SSID has traffic shaping rules so it’s traffic is prioritized over Liahona? I'm interested to know what the " few new ones " issues are that you are experiencing? We have not presently experienced any new issues.. However my expectation is that if all bishopric...

How to request new internet service
Our area has had google fiber installed which means centurylink and Comcast have both improved their offerings to compete. Is there a specific process to go through to research pricing and update internet plans at meetinghouse. With Zoom and Lehi and Liahona and managed switches it just seems like w...

Being that it is leaders only and no splash page it solves many issues while presenting a few new ones.

Re: Having to add Macs to NoSplash
It’s the browser. I see this on my Mac all the time. Use safari to get the captive portal prompt after that any browser works.
You can also visit http://captive.apple.com/ And it will hit the portal from any browser.

Re: Managed switches
So quick question.. We have a building where we have a Access Point under the podium in the chapel. On the managed switch, we have set that port to Access Point. At times, we do use that cable at the podium lets say for Sacrament Broadcasts, so we would unplug the Access Point and plug in a compute...
