No, they can't. But why not create a separate district for each list? Districts can be called anything you like, and that would stop it appearing on any VT supervisor's contact list. Would still need to be assigned to a member for a visiting teacher, but maybe a couple of the sisters already in that...

Before I say anything in response to any of this, let me start by saying that neither I nor any units in my stake have any pages of the type in question. So my motivation in saying this is not to justify my own actions in any way. It is not "my position" I am defending, but rather I am advocating th...

Wow, that's really interesting. Particularly so because I know there are plans in place to move Australia over to the same back end that USA uses for their financial database in the very near future. I wonder if we will lose this ability in the process.

The only thing I could think to suggest is removing them from the Young Single Adults class list. However, I suspect the Bishop's action and interview list will be based on the "raw" membership records with a filter for age and marital status, rather than on the YSA class or group list. At least I h...

It would skew all your statistics for visiting teaching too. They would each need to be reported as visited or not each month, and these visits (or hopefully lack thereof if the numbers are being entered accurately) would be counted as "not contacted" for each report. Why not just delete her compani...

I have always found this policy difficult to reconcile given the recent encouragement by church leaders to share the gospel using such social networking sites. It seems clear the church leaders want us to use these resources wherever possible to try and stimulate conversation about the gospel online...

If it is an update to MLS itself, then yes, the version number will usually make it very obvious. But these updates tend to be well documented on the forums and release notes, and are not usually the source of the problems I am talking about. However, whenever the back end at the area offices / CHQ ...

I have no doubt there are differences in the systems involved. But I happen to know that the updates that were the culprit in our problems were pushed out from Salt Lake, not from our local offices. Our own offices weren't privy to the details until they started investigating complaints from the loc...

MLS in Australia doesn't have this yet either. However, it is easy enough to request area offices to push it through from their end. Just needs a phone call or email. I would imagine there must be some sort of system where a backend administrator could refresh the database from their end. Otherwise,...

I just found this post and so tried to find the feature but the tools are listed as only "Tools for General Membership," and do not have the Leader and Clerk Resources tools. I am the membership clerk and also the web administrator but evidently neither of these positions qualify me for access. I h...
