Directory lists wrong # of 'New Photos'
Hey all, I'm an assistant ward clerk, so I go in sometimes to check the photos people upload to ldstools or the online directory. For the last year, it has always said that there is one more photo than it shows. So, when it shows 4 photos to approve, it says "New Photos (5)", and after I d...

+1 I can see how very beneficial that would be for stake leaders to get notification of changes to callings at the ward level when they are responsible to train the newly called person. Stake Relief Society Presidency should be aware of changes to ward relief societies. Same for primary, young men (...

When a new ward is created in Classic LUWS, there are no administrators. There is a technical workaround to get an administrator assigned to the new ward(s) that requires the cooperation of two stake administrators. Details upon request. OK, next time I get a request about the classic website, mayb...

A word to the wise about updating the classic website. Last year, we had a couple of wards split in my stake. When the new units were added, no one was given Administrator access to the new units' sites. No one at the ward level, and no one at the stake level. If, somehow, no one already has adminis...

Yes they have their MRN in their out of unit record but when I login for example the Stake Presidents photo isn't shown but when he logs into his home ward directory it's there . . . When a member uploads a photo, they can always see their photo whether it has been approved or not. No one else, how...

I'm in a YSA Stake. I serve as an assistant stake clerk. I used lds.org/leader to go through each ward in my stake and see what each leader's home ward is. It will list a unit name and number. Then I go to cdol.lds.org and search for that unit number which gives me the Ward Clerk's contact informati...

OK. An API is not necessarily for external apps. I think it would be excellent to implement an LDSAccount OpenID or OAuth server (it's a freebie if they'd use OpenAM instead of Oracle's products). One of the interesting things with OAuth is the API Key. Every application requires a key to use the se...
