Re: Teradek now not approved for use?
If you are in the stake building, the FM group can provide you with a Razer Ripsaw capture device. That is what our FM manager ordered for us. As of the date of this post, this is what MHT recommends: https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Ripsaw-Game-Streaming-Capture/dp/B07Q2X651Z The Ripsaw accepts only HD...

Re: Any suggstions for a stable portable camera mount?
[Yes, it was awful for all three of our buildings. The signal is analog, and so each building had both a static in the background and some high pitched squeal. We had more success just sticking a condenser USB mic nearby and using that. The best is a direct line into the directional mic on the pulp...

Re: Broadcasting equipment
We are in stake center so we have a little leverage. The Teradek can be used for YouTube Live but as that is a backup plan, you'll need to get a USB or PCI based video capture device for input to an I-5 PC/laptop with a minimum speed of 2.3 GHz (see below). If you have an SD camera like we do, you'l...

Re: Any suggstions for a stable portable camera mount?
Our Sony SD camera is permanently mounted at the back corner of the chapel on top of the ledge where fluorescent lights are mounted. The FM group also had the IR control wired back to the satellite closet so I can position the camera most anywhere on the stand - chorister, piano, organ, choir, etc. ...

Re: Any suggstions for a stable portable camera mount?
Have you considered using the device for the hard of hearing as an audio input? That's what we use. It includes the organ and all microphone inputs in the chapel. You may need the crab box to patch it to the camera or the PC depending on equipment configuration.

Re: Pre-scheduling disabling and enabling access points
Although the post clearly states that this is not a tool to "pre-schedule AP for webcasts", I can't think of any other use for a scheduler. I don't anticipate the need to disable AP access except for webcasts. Perhaps others may suggest why this is needed. I provided similar feedback via t...

Re: Download All Individual Conference Talks
This is the first time I've downloaded this type of repo from github. The method I was using introduced an extra line ending character to the raw file. This morning I noticed the Zip file method (sorry). I replaced the entire repo and got a different error. This one looks like it may be more easily ...

Here is the verbose output. The only additional output I noticed was the URL. Thanks for offering to review the output. C:\Users\larry\GenConfDownloader>.\gen_conf_downloader.py -verbose -start 2017 -dest .\Conferences https://www.lds.org/languages Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Us...

Re: Download All Individual Conference Talks
Hi Sam, Thanks for the link and the program. Although I don't code in Python, as a UNIX/Linux System Engineer I'm usually pretty self sufficient in getting stuff to run. However, this script is throwing about 9 or so errors. Python is installed, and I believe I have your code installed correctly as ...

Re: Recommended Composite to HDMI scaler
Our FM group manager just ordered us the Atlona model. I hope that one works well.
