Re: Church Webcasts using YouTube Live Streams
Thank you for the input. I am the STS and have been reading the streams and documents on these topics throughout most of the day. We will be trying out the MEVO streaming to YouTube solution on our existing bandwidth at our three buildings this week. I plan to disable the AP and wire the device dire...

Re: Simple Fully Automated worship webcast with Meetinghouse Webcast
What is the upload speed in your buildings? We hover between 1 and 2. Will this solution work with lower upload speeds?

Re: Church Webcasts using YouTube Live Streams
So the bottom line as I understand it is that you need at least 5+ MB upload speed to successfully broadcast from the building? I am assuming you disable all AP's prior to streaming? We are working to come up with a good solution as we have been given clearance to meet physically in two weeks (follo...

Re: Any efforts for Windows 8 applications?
I got a surface today for my new RS president wife to use in her calling before realizing that there was no LDS tools or Gospel Library for Windows 8. I share with others the hope that those apps will be available soon as there is an ever growing desire. Thank you to all those developers who may be ...

We have HTC Arrives running Mango 7.5 and have been running LDS Tools and Gospel Library flawlessly for about 3 months now. All of the sudden over the past two weeks neither will work. I have checked for updates, uninstalled both apps, done a complete power cycle including pulling the battery, reins...

My wife and I have had the same experience now for about the same time period. We became very dependent upon those tools; her as RS secretary and I as stake clerk. It would be wonderful if there is a setting or something that could be turned back on because we have used those apps daily for many mon...

Does anyone know how to add the member of the high council over welfare in MLS so they can access LDSJOBS. Would we give him a dual calling as Stake Employment Specialist? I know it has to be a standard calling to give him access. I don't see a standard calling in the high council that would grant r...

Concur. I have never seen this before. The PC's come loaded with a Microsoft Solutions Accelerator and it triggers a deployment wizard to install the new OS. If you take the exit to DOS option, it aborts the setup and leaves you dead in the water since there is no OS disk shipped with the pc. The ot...
