Re: Can Finance Clerk access tithing declaration in LCR?

It was always available to the finance clerk in MLS -- meaning, it was available just a few weeks ago - so I have a hard time believing that it's a policy instead of just an oversight.

Can Finance Clerk access tithing declaration in LCR?

When our ward clerk logs in to the LCR page, he can see four tabs under "Tithing Settlement." One of those is "Tithing Declaration." (I think the same happens for the bishop). But when our financial clerk logs in, he sees only two tabs, and the "Tithing Declaraion" tab ...

Long term family. Not a recent move in.

Home Teaching Statistics issue - LCR different from Tools

Our PEC is seeing errors in home teaching statistics. Specifically, the lists showing families who have not been home taught. In the LCR online and in Tools, we show the same families on the list of people not taught. But, the month-specific stats are different. E.g., a family on tools shows that th...

This one is stumping me , maybe you all will know

I have a member in the Ward who gave birth to a child and the child died shortly thereafter. The child was not given a blessing before he died. Is there a way to record the child's birth? It seems like the child should should be reflected at least on the parents' records (as one of their kids), even...

Re: Membership of Children of Divorced Parents

This thread is a little old, so can I revive it just to see if anyone has a new info? I have a divorced couple in the Ward, with kids. All family members live in our Ward. Parents have joint custody and shared parenting time. Kids currently are on mom's records. Dad is not happy about this. He would...

Yes, the Directory cut/past works!

This is good. I had used that feature before but didn't notice that it was back. It looks like it automatically DOES NOT include members whose privacy restrictions are in place for leadership only. That is a problem that has been around for a while -- seems like if a member has his/her address on fi...

Look like we're back, but incomplete

Looks like "send a message" is back. However, the "copy/paste" function appears to be gone. Am I wrong? Assuming that I'm right, is there a workaround for the following issues: - sending a message that allows a reply to the sender (but not to the entire recipient list)? - sending...

Re: How to send an email message to entire ward ???

And, wow, I didn't know that gmail (or any other provider) did that -- using one user's spam flag as a signal for all other users. That could really cause some problems if I have one random inactive guy on my list who flags us as spam. I hope that doesn't happen.

Re: How to send an email message to entire ward ???

Something like that, yeah. I've just heard that some email providers will automatically flag an email that is sent to a large number of recipients. Maybe using bcc gets around that, I don't know. But I use bcc no matter what b/c I've had ward members complain before about it. I learned my lesson (&q...
