Importing Member directories / Vcards
Seems the main goal of this post was to get ward directories into Outlook, albeit Vcards but if CSV works why re-invent the wheel. There is a program out there called "Unit List on the Run" that will import the entire ward or Stake for that matter directory of members from LUWS and convert...

Importing ward membership directory into MS Outlook
The csv format exported from LUWS member directory page, like its calendar cousin, is incompatible with MS Outlook. Like the calendar this is because the column names must be exact in order to import in and the names in the downloaded format do not match those required. Additionally information is c...

LUWS 2.0 Suggestion: Creation of email groups for subscription
Give local web admins ability to create email subscription groups and then members of the ward who are interested can sign up. Example and Church relationships: We are all encouraged to get our food storage in order. Having a food specials email list might be good as it can alert members of managers...

Deactivation User agreement
Here Here! I like it & the reason for the user agreement is to insure all users are aware of things like this that can happen so they don't have this as an excuse to be offended. Our goal is to encourage use & member participation so we want all the ground rules known up front. Problem with ...

LUWS User Account Policy & Agreement
Does anyone know where the original user agreement is posted? I have been online so long I don't remember. One would surely think we all had to read and agree to abide by certain policies & guidelines in order to obtain our LUWS accounts. Anyway with a new LUWS 2.0 should come a new and updated ...

More Suggestions for LUWS 2.0
Resource Scheduling: T he days & times under the control of the resource coordinator should be high lighted in a specific color & those times/days owned by other wards or the Stake in alternate colors. The resource coordinator would then be able to submit requests for resources to another w...

Work Around for multiple email addresses in directory
Item 8 in the summary: I found out that if each family member gets their own web site account (a good idea) that their email address from their profile shows up in the directory assuming they have not elected to block its display. It does not provide a hot link to click on to send email but the addr...

Much Better but issues still
I have been testing using my son's msn email account by going into the Admin - Registered users list & sending him messages from the web site. We have added my email address to his msn address book but still every thing I send him from the web site goes into his junk email folder, even after rig...
