Re: HD Video Distribution in New Meetinghouses

Do you know what the standard is for churches with HD distribution? I want to match the church standard but only see bits and pieces (like using the Extron DTP R HWP 4K 331D listed above). I don't know if there's an official standard or if it's up to the architects. The way I understand things, the...

I just had a thought and looked at the DI website. Here's a phone number for human resources: 1-801-240-8080

Try that. Hopefully someone answers and can help you.

I don't know how church employment works. Did they give you and contacts for HR or someone like that?

You could try calling the church service center. Someone there might be able to help you. At least those people may be church employees themselves and have a clue about what to do.

Re: Printing with Footnotes

I don't know if there is a way from the church's study tools; however, you can find the talk printed in the Ensign or Liahona and print it as a PDF from there. That will include the footnotes.

Re: Do Not Contact List/Visibility

I'm a ward clerk and I've just received a request from a ward member (older daughter of a ward family) who does not want to receive any communication through email. I have sent a few email messages to the entire ward over the past couple weeks. I guess she is not interested in the announcements. An...

Re: Robotic Process Automaion (RPA)

I wasn't aware of UI Path, but took a look at their website. The tool supports screen scraping, so you might be able to do several things on the church site with it. Screen scraping is often times a difficult way to get at data and it can break frequently when the site being scraped gets updated by ...

Re: Highlighted text from scripture study not showing up in Notes?

I recently realized that the highlighted text wasn't appearing when I looked at Notes in the web browser. As I had previously reported in this thread, it was working again for me. I sometimes use different web browsers. I realized that I saw the highlighted text in one browser and not in another. I ...

Re: Highlighted text from scripture study not showing up in Notes?

I'm glad sbradshaw's workaround is working for you, but if you haven't, please also submit feedback so the decision makers can be aware of the issue. They'll probably tell you to do the standard stuff like clearing your browser cache. If you haven't done that yet, do it and see if your text appears....

Re: Stake Information and Boundaries?

Classic maps is a good choice. You could also have one of your ward clerks look in CDOL. I think you can see where stake centers are there. I'm no longer a clerk, so I can't go look and see how obvious it is. I'm not sure why you need to be near a stake center (as opposed to any church building). Di...

Re: Requests to enable relationship viewing

I just got one of these requests, too, and am concerned about what it shares. I found two articles on this: https://www.familysearch.org/blog/en/view-relationship-other-users/ http://genealogytrot.blogspot.com/2019/10/familysearch-update-relationship-viewing.html So it just looks like it shares my p...
