Could this be related to our ASA firewall suddenly not filtering correctly this afternoon? After a full power cycle of all the related equipment, it still is accepting a connection to gambling.com. I know people don't regularly "test" the blocking capabilities of their firewall, but we were trying ...

I'm still in the process of getting a chapel set. Between working a swing shift, a couple of summer classes, and wife & kids, time for myself to do things is rare. However, I'm in the process of getting pricing for internet connections. Has anyone else had issues with how expensive construction inst...

No. What apps do you run at church and what materials do you access at church? Scriptures? Lessons? C...

Professional what?
Well, I grew up with a C=64 and dabbled a little on my dad's 286 before my mission. When I got back, Pentiums were available and Win95 was around the corner. I got a side job learning some pc hardware and html for a while. Later it was mostly sales, and a lot of what I had learned was by playing aro...

You might be able to use VLANs to make that work. I run my public wireless off VLAN-2, and I told the router not to move traffic between VLAN-1 and VLAN-2. The boxes all end up with the same IP subnet and everything, but you can't get from the wireless to the wired network w/o going through the fir...

And prevents a rogue clerk from setting up a share so he can access the ward computer I know we may talk about rogue clerks, which leads me to a question of why they have admin access on windows (being security minded). Has this question already been answered in another forum? My first guess is the...

Somewhat back on topic, would there be a problem using 802.11n (draft, of course) gear for meetinghouse use? I guess what I'm asking is the Cisco ASA 5505 firewall fairly forgiving as to what's behind it, or should the STS folks stick with an "approved" list of gear to make their lives easier? I'm ...
