Re: Duty to God App
How is this not done yet? As stated in previous posts, a version of this is already available. From you smartphone or tablet, you can browse to dutytogod.lds.org and and enter individual goals, and track progress. This has been available in this format since at least 2011. The site could be a bit m...

Re: Connecting the Phone to the TV
The the Apple adapter can be found here. But you still need to purchase a separate HDMI cable to connect the adapter to the TV.
For the older iPhones and iPads, you can use this HDMI adapter, or
this composite AV cable .

Re: Is this project Dead or something?
The current site uses software from Legato Media for the interactive music player. This player is Flash-based. I think part of the biggest reason for the stall of this project is that Legato does not have an HTML5 version of its player so that it will work on iOS and other mobile devices, and no sui...

Here is a real scenario for you. Stake conference was being broadcast remotely to our meetinghouse. The meetinghouse Internet connection failed (long, irrelevant story). Several of us had iPhones and the necessary cables to attach them to the projector and building sound system. But because the stre...

Perhaps with Mozilla's mulling of H.264 support instead of Ogg and WebM/VP8, the Church might switch their webcasting software from a Windows format to a H.264 format. Browsers that currently support H.264 natively include Safari (both mobile and desktop), Internet Explorer 9, and Google Chrome. Moz...

Is this behavior consistent across different access points? For example, does the problem occur everywhere? only at church? only at home? My reason for asking is that there might be some parts of the calendar that are being blocked by a firewall. For example, for my kids, my firewall blocks all webs...

The source is essentially the address data from MLS. If you are noticing incorrect postcodes in the map, the first thing to check is to make any corrections needed to the postcodes on individual membership/household records within MLS and then transmit them to CHQ though the Send/Receive process. If...

Thanks for the help. I tried it and it didn't fix the problem. It is really odd - everything else has the right time except LDS Tools - crazy. When you check the calendar events directly from lds.org/church-calendar from various web browsers on different machines, are the event times also off by 1 ...
