Re: GL 4.0 - Mass import notes into a notebook

Thanks, I'll see what I can do with Recent. Maybe this could be done through an API in the future?

Merry Christmas!

Re: GL 4.0 - Mass import notes into a notebook

Thanks for the response. Do you think some kind of select-all check box could be added to the notes page so we can do a mass update a la Gmail labels? Or add an "Uncategorized" tab next to Notebooks, Tags, and Recent? Checking each chapter in the standard works would take a while, and I do...

GL 4.0 - Mass import notes into a notebook

I'm happy to see that notebooks are now available for languages other than English. (I mainly use Spanish, if it matters.) How do I get all of my existing notes imported into a notebook now?

Thanks.

Re: Transferring notes across devices/desktop and languages

That is a nifty idea. But does the church have any privacy/copyright/etc. objections, since the website is displaying the user's logged-in data through another website? The same could be done for other personal data. You need to be logged on to lds.org, but still.

Re: Transferring notes across devices/desktop and languages

I'd like to vote for ncorrea's idea of transferring notes across languages. I mainly study the Scriptures in Spanish, but I prefer reading and writing in English for most everything else. Most of my Scripture notes are in English. I know word-for-word highlights would be unfeasible, but I would be f...

Remote work

Hello,

I know this has been mentioned in the past, but I see no recent posts on it. Are there plans to allow remote work? All of the current tech jobs seem to require physically being in the US.

Thanks,

Add a time/temporal dimension to scripture notes

A suggestion that I've heard once or twice, albeit not from any official source, is that we should get a new set of scriptures (the paper ones) every so often so that our old notes and highlights don't interfere with our ability to receive new revelation. If I am reading scriptures that have thought...

Making older conference talks available on LDS.org

Hello, What are the plans for making available conference talks from before 1971 (the oldest currently on LDS.org)? Some manuals contain leaders' quotes from Conference Report going back to the late 1800's and it would be nice to have the original talks available to read. The oldest Ensign on the we...
