Re: Calendar 4.0 released

It has been stated that 4.0 was released because of 'security reasons'. But I find it a little disturbing that I don't have to sign in to the Calendar to see it, or make changes! The Calendar also often still shows after I have logged out! This seems to happen when I have already logged in previousl...

Re: Calendar 4.0 released

People have been talking on this post about a 'floating feedback' option. I don't see this. I am using Google Chrome (the browser that has worked the best with the calendar for years). Is it a browser problem? Are they going to make this new 4.0 release work with different browsers? It would be good...

Re: Calendar 4.0 released

"I imagine I am not the only one. This type of move undoes a lot of our work for a long time. This release has bad timing (most stakes are finalizing 2023 calendaring), almost no communication, not enough testing, and a big-bang approach. Release 4.0 is obviously not ready, so please consider r...

Re: Calendar just has spinning wheel!

I have tried it on another computer and it worked OK. I also shut down my computer every day. :) I still get this issue with IE and Chrome on this computer. I downloaded FireFox on this computer and it worked. So something seems to be affecting the two browsers that were already loaded on the comput...

Calendar just has spinning wheel!

In the last few days all I am getting when trying to view the calendars is a spinning wheel in the calendar region (with no displayed calendar). This is happening in both Google Chrome and IE browsers. All the other menus can be seen and adjusted (like checking/unchecking calendars, etc.) but the ca...

Re: Upgrade request for toggling events on/off

aebrown, your explanation helps. I get it now. :) It works like I would like it to by turning off the Locations! I was just turning off Calendars and with Locations still on they calendar events still show, they just change color. So turning of Locations was the secret. Thanks. You might want to use...

Re: Upgrade request for toggling events on/off

Yes, but that turns off ALL events at that location. That does not really help competely. I am often looking for events in a building that have a lot of events scheduled in them.

Upgrade request for toggling events on/off

With the new calendar update, we now see all events that have a building resource scheduled in both week and month view. This will be a help to many in the stake that use the calendar and did not understand they could see all events only in week view before. However, for some of us like me (the stak...

New Calendar problems on iPad

Since the new calendar upgrade came out last month, I have tried to update several events using my iPad with not good results. Today's experience was trying to open an event and the next thing I notice is that the event was deleted! No windows popped up, just here one second, and gone the next! Fort...
