Yanceyware - double popup menu

Hi, The Yanceyware forums seem to not be working, and since I know a lot of people on here use Yanceyware I hope you won't mind me asking a question. I have a WM6 device. I was getting the double popup menu issue, and then found on the Yanceyware forum a link to download a file that fixed the proble...

Excel

Ummm...I only used Excel because I thought it would be fine...I'm not a IT guy. But the good news is I deleted lines 5, 6, and 22 using Notepad and the import into Google calendar worked fine. So, thanks...all sorted now.

Thanks,

Ian

Still don't get it...

You know in the scriptures how we read about patience...well, I still don't get it. Here's what I'm doing: 1) Export iCal file from LUWS (name the file "Stake Calendar"). 2) Open Stake Calendar in Excel. 3) See below...I've tried variations of deleting lines 5, 6, and 22; or renaming line ...

Google calendar import

I've done my best to change the timezone info, but it's not working. I don't actually know what to enter.

Here's the line from the LUWS export: TZID:US/Mountain

My timezone is Sydney, NSW, Australia....so what do I enter instead of "US/Mountain"?

Thanks,

Ian

Calendar export from Local Units website

Hi, Would love to receive some suggestions for a workaround to this problem. When I export our stake calendar from the local units website ( http://www.lds.org/units ) and import it into a Google calendar, the time of events is incorrect. The issue appears to be with timezones. My Google calendar is...

You guys are sooo clever!!

I now feel guilty for all the nerd jokes I've ever made...you guys are sooooo clever!! I'm very pleased that I stumbled onto this forum.

Thank you to David Ostler and Fraser Redmond, and anyone else with a hand in developing this utility. It's terrific.

Regards,

Ian

New guy

Ok, so I've stumbled upon this forum. I'm not an IT person (counsellor if you're really interested), so I don't understand a lot of what is discussed on here. I REALLY like the possibilities of this mapping stuff that I can see you guys discussing in the forum, but is it at all possible for a non-co...
