Re: New M700 computers failing to boot
Apparently according the HQ this is a major issue and just requires a reset. Here is the email from HQ Brother Springgay, I am sorry you are having this problem and yes there have been several other units that have had this same problem since a Windows update came out. Solution: 1. Please select A...

Re: New M700 computers failing to boot
Cables are snug, and the drive is accessible when I boot into the recovery command line. And Windows does start the boot but it fails when it starts loading the drivers.

Re: New M700 computers failing to boot
There is no CD drive on these tiny units. And the only USB devices are the keyboard and mouse.

New M700 computers failing to boot
Has anyone else had a recent rash of blue screens with inaccessible boot device on the clerk computers (the tiny m700s)? I thought it happening once was just a failed upgrade but half of the clerk computers in the stake have now run into this problem. (Luckily there is still at least one working com...

Re: Stake Conference to local school building
Is the church's upload speed that high as well? Since you will be transmitting from the church most likely the church's upload speed will be the limiting factor. You can see your upload speed at speedtest.lds.org. Remember that you should try to only use 80% of the upload capacity to maintain a soli...

Re: lesson schedule for the year 2013
Just trying to have us be consistent and minimize any confusion. Easiest way is to have the presidencies set up and use the "Lesson Schedule" on lds.org and then point everyone to that resource, especially the teachers. It will take bit to get used to but has been very useful in making su...

I have but the quality I find is better just running the cable. The presentation appears washed out unless you darken the room enough but then nobody can see the presenter.

Re: lesson schedule for the year 2013
Ah so to reiterate what you are saying. You would like to see the lesson everyone should be on, not the one that they are going to be teaching? So say the second Sunday of the year should be lesson 2 but because ward conference happened on the 1st Sunday they are going to teach lesson 1 on the 2nd S...

Re: Showing presentation from chapel in cultural hall
Many Projectors will have an RCA output that you could use to daisy chain to another projector in the cultural hall. It would work though he stated that using the video (480i) was too low of quality for the presentation. Plus if is like our building that would be a 200+ foot cable. My current old l...
