How do I resolved this situation?

I had never used the import utility before and I wanted to avoid problems so I created a new calendar named "Import" just to test this functionality and to avoid causing problems. For some reason not all the events showed up when I imported them, so I deleted the calendar and tried again. ...

I was notified by email this morning that a new calendar submission had been made. It was for a wedding reception and they used the old, now retired, ward and stake resource calendar. When I checked on this I found 46 pending submissions. There were wedding receptions, baptisms, family parties, etc....
