Re: Changing password
On a hunch I tried in Firefox Private Mode and it worked. Then I tried in Chrome Incognito Mode - where I have LastPass enabled and it failed. When I logged out of LastPass left the page and came back it worked. It would seem LastPass is breaking the page - as was stated that sometimes add-ons can c...

Re: Changing password
I had the same problem: in both Chrome Version 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) and Firefox 56.0.1 (64-bit) I got the message "Your information has been changed, but not saved. Please save or cancel your changes." displayed below the "Security Settings" title. I tried both...

Re: It not is possible to register new lds accounts
I am also having difficulty but I am receiving a 403 for POST https://ldsaccount.lds.org/findByMrnAndBirthDate when I try and register. If I go to lds.org -> sign in -> register then enter MRN and birth date the Chrome console (F12) displays an angular.js 403 (forbidden) error for the POST. My wife ...

Not having a depth of knowledge on transcoding it would see to me the Pi is capable of doing the transcoding - but I don't know how much. According to the FAQ has a dedicated GPU and it is capable of BluRay quality playback 40MBits/s. http://www.raspberrypi.org/faqs : What SoC are you using? The SoC...

Re: Next LDSTech Broadcast: Digital Media into Meetinghouses
Glad to hear there is so much interest in my idea. My current plan is to hand the project off to our other stake tech specialist and hopefully the person who replaces me. In which case I could act as a consultant for the two of them. The intention is to take the current prototype and test it in one ...

Re: Next LDSTech Broadcast: Digital Media into Meetinghouses
PS - I know this setup is currently complicated, but once it's setup it would require little to no maintenance. Eventually, parts of it could be taken over by the church - like hosting RSS feeds by topic & language. Also, the setup could be reduced as well simply by providing pre-imaged SD cards...

Re: Next LDSTech Broadcast: Digital Media into Meetinghouses
I have tried several solutions and spent quite a bit of money trying to buy cables to support all configurations (hdmi/vga/composite/crt). I had training meetings but members left with "deer in the headlights" eyes. I have a prototype of a solution that simplifies everything - using Raspbe...

RasberryPi
I have also been looking into the RasberryPi - I just haven't gotten my hands on one yet due to the 12 week lead time so everything I say is just conjecture. However, I really like the Pi because of XBMC and the support for AirPlay (I believe similar functionality is supported for Android as well). ...
