I should also add that the ward leaders are looking to this report for guidance as to what should be done to minister to YSA's in the ward. If CHQ is interested in the straight 18-30 non-married statistics, then the local leaders will likely need to tailor their own report. This report would show YS...

rbeede and kissac, You both illustrate the confusion about this issue. The first question on the report simply asks for the "Number of YSA." Some feel that, as rbeede says, "A YSA is a YSA even if still in high school as long as they meet the age requirement." Others go more with kissac who, "questi...

Definition of a Young Single Adult

In our stake, there has been some questions about the monthly Young Single Adult report that is sent to CHQ each month. The main question revolves around who to count as a Young Single Adult. Of course, a YSA is a person who is not married and is 18-30 years old for whom we have a membership record....

Future of LUWS' "other" parts

Admittedly, I have not done a thorough perusal of the many threads in this forum and I apologize for that. I was wondering if those of you who spend a lot of time here and have been able to get a better understanding of where the Church is heading with the revamp of the LUWS could elaborate on what ...

What we do in our stake

Our stake pays for the acquisition/replacement of hymn books, artwork, and copier paper & supplies. We also have a designated Agent Ward in each building that is given a yearly allowance from the stake to pay for the other shared costs of items not covered by the FM Group. This is basically sacramen...

I'm an assistant stake clerk in our stake for finances. I have studied this issue a little while researching why some units exceed their annual budget given to them by our stake. The amount that shows up on the Stake Financial Summary is the same as the "Total Amount Transferred" at the end of the C...

Fast Offerings

I'm wondering if this is "old-school" thinking on the part of the stake president. Back in the days of FIS, one of the demographics required for the Tithing Status Report was the number of families who contributed fast offerings and FIS provided tools that eased the gathering of this information. In...

I have not been able to personally verify that the unit with the complaint has populated budget allocations for their budget categories or the budget allocation amount at the bottom of the View/Edit Budget page. However, I did fill those in for the test units before I attempted to cut sample checks ...

Negative Budget Amount Remaining Balance on Expense Report (check register)

There is a unit in our stake that has reported a problem to me on their Expense Report. This is the summary report that prints after you print the checks in MLS and has places for the unit leader and clerk to sign. In their unit, the Remaing Budget figure that prints just after the check summary sta...
