I think re-distribution would run into copyright issues. I thought you were going to post a organized list of links to the original content. Thanks for the thought on copyright issues. I had not thought of that. Somebody else had made mention of the links to the files. Unfortunately I do not have t...

Only if it defeats security in some way. Otherwise, post away. I'll probably need it myself. I don't think I'd try to equate download size with DVDs needed. Not unless you've got a player that will take "computer DVDs". I think 2 hours of running time per DVD is a better estimate. And of course I w...

Live Broadcasts Channel on ROKU?
I found a ROKU box at our stake center that was given to us a year ago to be part of a beta program. Upon connecting the device I found a channel called "Live Broadcasts" with the logo of the church underneath it. This channel would appear to be a mechanism that would allow streaming of live broadca...

Unfortunately the lds.org media library on lds.org is not accessible from a Roku. Assuming you are talking about a discussion around lds.org, mormon channel... It would really be nice to have some guidance on what is happening - January is coming fast. We are implementing now to be ready for Januar...

We are not currently planning on adding the "Come Follow Me" videos to the Mormon Channel, at least in an organized fashion. We are working to organize the videos in the Media Library on LDS.org. There is a lot of discussion around how to make the videos more accessible in the meetinghouse for use....

Come Follow Me as part of Mormon Channel
It would be nice to have the content from the "Come Follow Me" curriculum easily available and sorted in the Mormon Channel app. I think this would help facilitate teaching the lessons and watching videos quickly in a class setting using either a mobile device or a TV box such as a ROKU.

Google TV supports DLNA and will support the solution we're using in our stake, however, Google TV is extremely expensive compared to other Android based STB(Set-top Boxes) I picked up and Android 4 STB that outputs both RCA and HDMI for under $50 from China... it worked great to view a webcast and...

Almost all of the "Come, Follow Me" videos are on the Mormon Channel on the Roku. I looked through several lessons and only found one video which was not on the mormon channel and it was a clip from a conference talk. The entire talk was on the mormon channel but I did not find the clip itself. Tha...

No updates :(
I am very interested to see what solutions are presented here. I have been searching this forum and see lots of talk about the ROKU channel providing content, but is the "Come Follow Me" content available on the ROKU channel? What about using Google TV? Has anybody had success with this? Thanks!
