Email addresses do not currently flow from MLS to LUWS. A member's email address for LUWS is kept in their profile on the Ward Websites. Leadership doesn't work this way either. The Ward Website Administrator has to update the leadership callings on LUWS as well. As one of the ward clerks, I try to...

Also we just went through some leadership changes and they are being updated either. I know it t...

I've never heard of such a thing being done by the WML. If the WML just wants to know if one year has passed, that would be one thing. You could tell him yea/nay before getting the member's hopes up. It sounds to me like you really need to sit down with the Bishop and discuss this. Or call the stak...

I don't know of any rules or policy on the matter. For ID theft reasons, I'd be careful about full legal name, birth date and mother's maiden name. Because of the way the Church IDs members, I'd also be careful about the membership number and confirmation date. I'm confused. A child being baptized?...

Membership Info, who can have?
As a ward clerk I get a lot of calls asking if I have access to Membership Info. The question I have is that the people who call isn't the member themselves, its a ward missionary or RS Pres or whoever. Are we permitted to give out info to these people without permission from the member themselves? ...

On the statement that shows the canceled donation (often this will be in the following month's statement), you will see an entry in section III that will show a credit to the Other category and a charge to the category(ies) of the original donation , reflecting that the administration office has &s...

Returned Check
I would like to continue this thread. The last time I got a returned check it was a mess. Currently I have a neg amount on my statement in other for the amount of the returned check. I am now to go in and create a temp item to offset that amount. Next month CHQ does some adjustments and its fixed. C...

Non-Member Records
I had a request last Sunday from the EQ Second Counselor could I make both add both non-members of the family a household in MLS.
I asked what the benefit was and he stated he merely wanted to track them in HT routes?
They are on course in becoming members in about a year.
What say ye?
