Yes, you could output it as a PDF and then post that ... but have you actually tried that? I have. The challenge there, of course, is that e-mail addresses change. Also, creating userids based upon email addresses make it MUCH easier for hackers to obtain userids. A while back, much of CES changed to the "NetID" style of system now used by CES partly for the specific reason of not having userids...
