The Blessings of Webcast

What has your experience been and what miracles have you seen? I know we often come here to talk about how to magnify our callings, and get the ins and outs of how to carry webcasts to our members, but I wanted to start a thread to discuss the rich blessings we have received by using the Meetinghou...

Re: Sacrament Meeting Attendance

Some of our wards have asked members when they type their name in before viewing the broadcast, to put the number viewing at their location: Joe Smith - 4 Mary Franklin - 7 Mark Jensen - 1 Then in the stats section you can count the numbers up under the Individual Sites...its a bit manual, but it is...

Re: Simulcast Stake Conference

I discovered that I can simulcast to both the church webcasting system and youtube using ffmpeg to copy the rtmp stream from the church backend to youtube. I run this on my personal virtual private server, so it uses no extra building bandwidth whatsoever (and I have plenty of vps bandwidth). ffmpe...

Re: Church Webcasts using OBS

vMix does have it's own ability to have guests from other locations with it's paid tiers. You can also use Skype to bring in remote guests. Skype has supported NDI for quite some time. With NDI enabled, you can bring in a guest into OBS or vMix and mix them into the broadcast. Teams also has support...

Re: PTZOptics NDI cam directly into Church Webcast system?

You could just use a laptop to ingest the NDI stream and mix it with audio then cast it to the webcast system using something like OBS or vMix. Also, at that price point for the PTZ camera, you could consider other options like the Panasonic HC-X2000 which can stream (RTMP) directly to the webcast s...

Re: Church Webcasts using OBS

Streamyard has a monthly fee and is interesting, but I would suggest looking at VMIX. It is a dedicated application and is not a monthly subscription. It is very stable and powerful...or stick with OBS or Streamlabs OBS.

Re: Copy Function i

I believe this is related to an issue with a change in the catalog. Previously, there was column for pdfUrl which was added that mapped, but it was recently removed in recent catalogs and it is causing issues in the app. We are releasing an updated beta today or tomorrow which should address this. I...

Re: Highlight marking incomplete

This is a confirmed bug and a fix is pending testing and release. In the mean time, this only affects the rendering of fonts smaller than size 17. If you keep your font set to 17 or above, it should behave normally. We hope to have a fix pushed out in the near future after testing is complete.

Re: Gospel library does not update with sync.

Can you explain what you mean when you say "hidden notification" and that they turn off the sound when you are listening to the scriptures. I'm not sure what that means. If you are having issues, you can contact support directly by emailing GospelLibrary-Win@ChurchOfJesusChrist.org.

Thanks
