Re: Public Records Access
I must be missing something. I do a search and it asks for dead ancestor's name. If I enter John Boehner and united states I get 76k dead people. I must not be looking in the right place.

Re: Public Records Access
All I can find on familysearch.org is people who hav died. The public records database gives me three or four last know residences, last known phone numbers, email address and birthdates that I can match up to church records. It is pretty amazing what you can do with a public records database and Fa...

Public Records Access
I have been a ward clerk for nearly 6 years now. A year ago I personally subscribed to a public records database and went through all of the "missing in action" members of our ward. I was able to find many members who had been gone a long time (no more address forwarding info available thr...

Re: MLS Update... Now Baptism Certs Don't Print right.
I rebooted the computer twice and then the certificates started printing correctly. Sorry, I should have tried that before I posted. All is good. Strange though that before the install I was printing fine and then I had to do the reboots for it to work. Thanks

Clerk Resources > Member List > ?
I am not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but as a clerk, it would be really convenient to be able to easily change the Member List from Individual to household with indented members of the household. When you are looking to move someone in, or out of a household, or you are just trying to cl...

Callings Not Sync'ed between MLS and LDS.org
Today we noticed some needed changes in our primary callings. We made the changes in MLS at the church and have transmitted several times since then. LDS.org, when logged in as ward clerk, does not reflect the changes. For example, we created a "Valiant 11 Class" and then moved members fro...

Photos not showing up after upload.
Member logs in, adds a family photo and then adds a individual photo. The family shows up but the individual does not. All appropriate check boxes are set to show in the directory. Any ideas?
