Re: Interesting power issue with new audio/video system
The BLU systems are no longer being installed, just a heads up. At least out here. They are still doing some IVIE iflex new installs but they have gone to a new QSC Solution just recently for sound system upgrades. QSC Amps and controllers, and some Crown Amps as well. That is true church wide. Mos...

Re: Download statistics after a webcast
I have built a custom website that records the peoples names, how many watching on the device and when and for what meeting type. Sacrament, Baptisms etc, I even programmed a form for the sacrament program etc, so our historian can have it for posterity. If anyone is interested in such a system let...

Re: Use of clerk computer for streaming device?
Well that can be a double edge sword. Recently this same Church FM required that I send all old retired computers into Church HQ for recycling, but now I see this that he (I assume) is doing. (Insert rolling eyes here.)

Use of clerk computer for streaming device?
Went into a location to fix a portion of their sound system for zoom, as I do frequently these days. And noticed something peculiar. This building was connecting to the AV cabinet using a small computer from the Church that had a clerk's office load on it. The OS load was not mistakable it was defin...

Re: Stake conference with webcast.... stopped working mid session
While not proof, I find it interesting that the Teradek had to be restarted. That suggests the problem might be with it rather than the Webcast server. Others have noted that the Teradek gets pretty warm. I notice that the box shows the device mounted vertically, which allows the heat to escape fro...

Stake conference with webcast.... stopped working mid session
Today during our general session of stake conference, the Teradek lost connection to the servers and couldn't reconnect. Internet was completely fine on our end and I had an engineer with me who immediately checked the local comcast node and it was green across the board. Had to restart the Teradek ...

Re: Download statistics after a webcast
Probably moot anyway now that we've been asked to move to other platforms. This is not moot, the existing platform is still widely used for stake conferences as designed, the historical report is useless without a TON of time to process that data. The API (which access appears to have been shut off...

Re: Overload to webcasting system
Thank you for the replies. I have passed them on. I for one, LOVE THE WEBCASTING system, it makes things SO EASY! We just finished our stake conference, in which we had pre-recorded all talks and prayers (except for stake presidency), and had a GA join via Zoom. (And his output was put into the webc...

Download statistics after a webcast
Is there a way to download the statistics of the webcast event after the meeting is done? We just held a VERY successful stake conference, in which we pre-recorded all talks/prayers (except for the stake presidency), and it turned out quite well. I was wanting to get the Individual Site statistics i...
