Ok, any second/third opinions on nutterb's post? I personally think the most effective work a casual unofficial LDS Cyber Missionary can do today is to help move potential investigators to mormon.org and jesuschrist.lds.org/SonOfGod where the Spirit can reach and teach them. I always suggest a sign...

How to be a Cyber Missionary
By way of an update on the above, I rewrote the LDS Cyber Missionary board completely. It's now a basic how to be a cyber missionary board to help Latter-day Saints with little or no experience online learn how to follow up on Elder Ballard's request and be effective unofficial missionaries online....

Right now we are focusing on introducing new languages and not new features. Something like this would be nice and I will be sure to pass your suggestion along to our development team. Thanks Stewart Yesterday I kind of accidentally found a way to copy and paste without all the extra stuff, maybe m...

The LDS Newsroom Style Guide has a brief, but not very thorough discussion about this subject. It will not answer the question, though. Will including a site link to mormons.org have the same effect as using the word Mormon on the page? If so, that might help fill the bill. Just a thought. I hope y...

Suggestion
[Alan_Brown: I moved this post from the We Need Help Testing the Scriptures thread, which pertains only to testing foreign language versions of the scriptures.] I didn't read all the posts in this thread so this suggestion may already be old. It would be real nice to be able to copy and paste verses...

Great feedback!
Wow, thanks for all that great feedback, this is a very responsive board compared to most I've stopped at. Ok, lots of good points taken. I'm backing off the idea of creating thousands of additional websites, and particularly my suggestion that the Church be involved with such a creation. I disagree...

With the recent emphasis on cyber missionary work by Elder Ballard, I'm curious to know if an official website specifically for online missionary work is in the works. Does anyone know?

LDS Cyber Missionary Board
The site linked below is a discussion board for LDS Cyber Missionaries. It is not a techie board but is a great place to discuss ideas for online missionary work, some of which could perhaps be implemented or enhanced by technological applications. Ask on the board if you'd like to have a technical ...
