Re: Transfer money from Budget to "other"
Sorry for the silence - the Camps I referred to were indeed two separate and distinct camps, one for Deacons and one for Beehives. We do that in an EFY year, so the 12-13 year olds have something to look forward to – and also so they get equal benefit of the funds raised that year. Ultimately the po...

Re: Transfer money from Budget to "other"
That seems a bit convoluted. Processing expenses, and then going back over them one the raised funds have been received, and re-categorising based on the split!?
Oh well.

Re: Transfer money from Budget to "other"
Well I've always been told that we shouldn't write cheques between units, but that was 'pre-CUBS' - so perhaps the procedure has changed? The wards would be writing a cheque from the Other account where the funds that have been raised would be deposited. Then we'd be paying into the Stake budget acc...

Re: Transfer money from Budget to "other"
I've just been told by GSC that the only way for Stake to recoup funds from the wards spent on Deacons / Beehives camp is to transfer from Ward-Other to Stake-Other. Then I'm supposed to recategorise all related stake expenses for the camp from Budget to Other?! Does that sound right to everyone els...

Re: LDS Church to broadcast priesthood session on TV and onl
Every stake I know in the UK watches a recording at the stake centre at 10am in the morning. I love the fact that we all go together, and will be making the 20 minute drive as always. We also take our family to the live (in the UK) sunday morning session at 5pm - and it saddens me to see 50-60 peopl...

Re: Budget categories
Thanks for the response - I did try and right click on the categories to add a new sub category, but eveything was greyed out and there was nothing I could do. Perhaps it's a UK thing? Any other UK based stake financial clerks out there care to share how you manage tracking the various budget subcat...

Re: Budget categories
Does this functionality still exist? All my categories are listed with red 'x' and so I can't add any custom sub categories to the budget categories. The previous stake financial clerk was running a load of spreadsheets to track the various expenses at a sub budget category level ie. Dances / Firesi...
