Re: Church Webcasts using OBS
I am plugging in the HDMI cable into my laptop. I've tried it on 2 different laptops and on OBS and Zoom, but it doesn't get recognized. Are you sure that's a HDMI input? All laptops I've seen have only HDMI outputs to feed external monitors. You probably need a HDMI to USB adapter. I have used thi...

Re: Church Webcasts using OBS
Has anyone else had trouble with the church camera not being recognized when plugging into a laptop? I tried this OBS setup, but when I select the camera I only have my laptop webcam and the OBS virtual camera. We have the camera going out into an HDMI converter and then I am plugging in the HDMI ca...

Re: Audio troubleshooting - webcast
Update.... FM group is replacing our Teradek unit this week. They haven't been able to figure out what has been causing the problem yet. Fingers crossed! Your previous post mentioned you moved the Teradek to the chapel and you no longer had any "hum" issues. So it can't be a bad Teradek. ...

CDOL Typo on a unit
Unit number 2173638 incorrectly identifies the city that the camp is located in as "Cennersville" it should read "Connersville".
I'm hoping that a post here can it easily corrected.

Re: Audio troubleshooting - webcast
We had this same problem in our satellite rack. We could not isolate or remove it. We have all old analog gear, nothing new or HDMI in that rack other than the scaler for the camera feed to convert video to HDMI. We ended up moving the Teradek to the Chapel and using the audio out from the chapel a...

Re: Audio troubleshooting - webcast
Thanks! I was able to put the settings in the teradek to be only left audio input, but I still had the noise. If "Left only" isn't doing it, and the Terakek isn't using the some kind of "combined" setting (camera and audio input), then the problem is somewhere else. Where are yo...
