Re: Hiding Do Not Contacts

Where is the "Private - Leadership Only?" I'm in LCR/Member Information but I don't see where the setting is... if it's still there

Hiding Do Not Contacts

I was sure that I saw this discussed somewhere but of course now that I go to do it, I can't find it again.

Isn't there a way to hide the Do Not Contact members so that other members don't see them?

18 YOs and New Youth Program

What is everyone's plan of attack with handling youth that are already 18 in this new youth program? We have one young man who turned 18 last fall. I gave him the option of getting a ring since he's on his way out. He said yes, so I sized him. But then I figured I guess he wouldn't really be doing a...

Re: Recreating Officers Sustained Form

I think I figured this out. I think I realized I can just edit the names in LCR and it prints out a form. Changing the names in the Officers Sustained fields doesn't change the callings.

Recreating Officers Sustained Form

So this is my second go-round with the ward history as a clerk. Maybe I didn't read all of the instructions last year, or something, but no one told me anything was missing from our submission. I'm reading the instructions this year and seeing that the Officers Sustained form from LAST YEAR needs to...

Lost Sheep/Inactive - What Would You Do?

I'm in a pretty transient area. One of my pet peeves is when we receive records for an inactive member and it seems like someone just found an address on the internet and sent the record to us. Then we find that that person doesn't live at the address in our ward. Because of this, I hate doing it to...

Re: Sending Lost Sheep to Salt Lake

Oh, totally. I figured out the parent thing a while ago and I've used it a few times. Sometimes I use it to try to contact the parent, but sometimes it just helps me gather information and clues. And right, I recently became aware that Salt Lake sends out messages to family trying to find them. But ...

Sealing to Deceased Parents

So my bishop gave me a question last night. Not sure if this is the right place to ask but seemed close enough. We have a brother that wants to be sealed to his deceased parents next weekend while they're out in California. (We're in Virginia.) Redlands temple workers told the brother and his wife t...

Re: Do Not Contact on Membership Records

My ward council has been asking me. I did not know about the "leadership only" setting. So glad I came here.
