Update: still a problem

My missionary son emailed me today. He said Myldsmail.net didn't work yesterday on p-day, so they had to get special permission to email today. Of course, this would take away from their time available for missionary work. My son will be home in 9 weeks, but I'd love to see the missionary email syst...

Perhaps this has been addressed since I returned home 2+ years ago, but I'd like to see an archive of the messages on MyLDSMail.net available for missionaries before their accounts are disabled post-mission. I have some of the emails I manually copied and pasted into MS Word, but I wish I could've ...

I'm interested in comments on the following: 1. mark the last name with / / when it appears in the name* column. The last name is included when it is different than the head of household last name - should it just be included all the time? It think it's important to be consistent. 2. each row is va...

...I used PowerPoint...So long as you have the slides set in the order of your script, it's not hard to simulate an on-line session. Simply move the mouse to the proper part of the page before you click it. I've actually fooled people into thinking I'm on-line. Very good point. And for the short se...

One problem with holding a tech night is that those who are intimidated by technology, or who don't see the value of it, might skip the event. Another approach might be a short intro at the beginning of a fifth Sunday joint meeting of the Priesthood and Relief Society. Someone could set up a project...

Oh. I was looking at the Leadership Directory, which doesn't have those options. I just assumed both directories worked the same way. Obviously I didn't look far enough. Thanks. The csv file is a little odd. It throws the email address into the "name1" and "name2" field along with the husband's and ...

He has experienced this in Houston (where he was temporarily assigned), as well as in the countries of Barbados and Guyana, where he has served. I've heard others mention the problem, so I have a sense that there is something to it. I'm not trying to be critical. It's great that the Church has a sys...
