Re: Registering a Teradek
I've done this when the feature first came out, but each stake would get a different Remote Configuration URL that has to be set on the Teradek for it to pull done the configuration which sort of defeats the purpose. For me, I found it easier for sacramemt meetings to keep it registered under the St...

Hi, Are you able to try using another camera?
I was going through the same thing last year and we ended up finding if we used a different camera it was alot clearer.

Re: Second question - input "weighting?"
The chapels that I've seen in my area that were built or expanded around 10 years ago didn't have any automatic prioritization of sound input, but I think I remember the XLR inputs were set at a lower volume then the pulpit mic and some chapels were set so low you could hardly hear anything out of t...

Re: Sacrament Meeting Attendance
The feedback link on the webcast sends emails the information to whoever created the event. I noticed about a couple of months ago I started getting feedback emails with attendance numbers and when I tested out the feedback button, there is now a option to select the amount of people who viewed the ...

Re: Stake System Broadcasting Green Screen Through Teradek
I have a couple different versions of the "latest AV systems" where I'm located in Australia and one of the Stake Centres I assist with was one of the first to get the new Kramer Video System & BSS Audio system in Australia a few years ago, but it could be equivalent hardware in other ...

Are you able to check your laptop's is getting it's DNS server address from DHCP and is not set manually.
That's one of the reasons I've had issues connecting to the Liahona network and not getting the splash page before.

Re: Simple Fully Automated worship webcast with Meetinghouse Webcast
I made this since the Teradek VidiU has been discontinued and the church no longer sells it according to store.churchofjesuschrist.org and my FM group and their direct manager. The old Teradek Vidiu model has been discontinued that is listed on the Purchasing Webcast Products page https://www.churc...

Re: Church webcast scalability and stability?
I haven't had any issues with the current church webcast system. I sort of had similar situation a 2 years ago with when I was called as the ASTS when the Stake Presidents in the regions having had bad experiences the webcast system dropping out and were wary of using it. When I first tested the web...

Re: Church Webcast Setup for Teradek
Also, the new device doesn't appear to properly support the automated scheduling. I'll get more specifics when I power it back up again. I also noticed a couple months ago the Teradek Pro that I had to borrow from our FM for a national webcast had issues with the Auto Configuration not wanting to s...

Re: Ideas for a stake-wide webcast
I'm not sure how large your Stake is, but for 3 stakes I assist with Stake Conferences I wouldn't see us going over 400 connections for a webcast as not every person will be connected, it would only be at least one connection per household. In saying that, it's always best to cater for the maximum a...
