So what is the solution? I can't add more Advisors. Can the Church change it so Specialists have access? Or can they bring back the YM Secretary calling? We need a way to allow this person to support the Bishop.

Re: YM specialist access to LCR

We are having this exact same problem. Now that there is no YM Presidency, how do YM Leaders get access to be able to email parents of YM? Or even get a list of the YM in the quorums?

Re: Family Search Indexing on Yosemite

If anyone wants to run the indexing app on Yosemite with Java 7/8 and not install Java 6, I was able to do it. I already had the Indexing app installed prior to upgrading to Yosemite, so I haven't tried to run the Installer, but in theory, you could. If you already have it installed and want to run ...

Newsletter Feature Roadmap?

Emergency Communications

Hello, I was recently called as a Stake Communications specialist. We also just had a multi-Stake Emergency Prep coordinating council to share some information across Stakes. During the meeting, it was apparent that there is a large disconnect between the larger Church (headquarters) and the smaller...

Re: Scout Tracking

Gary, Thank you for your info. Let me just say I was just called as Cub Master, so I'm learning as quickly as I can. I have been to myscouting.org before for training, but had never seen the Internet Advancement section. I just clicked on it and it says it requires Internet Explorer which is a probl...

Scout Tracking

I only see one topic about Scout Tracking on the forums here form 2011, so I thought I would start a new one. Is there a reason why the Church has not built their own Scout Progress Tracking tool? The amount of time wasted by leaders who don't have clear direction on how to track scout progress, and...
