Re: More Permanent Setup for Sacrament Meeting Broadcasts

So one thing I've been looking for in cameras is getting ones that have NDI support. This one has NDI support https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MZBFZ1Y/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A12U994K7K48KZ&psc=1 and the nice thing is you can get the NDI plugin for OBS. It will allow you to find the video...

Re: Download statistics after a webcast

I did however find a way to use it again, but only by logging in, viewing the network traffic to find the key I need, then placing it in my script... extra work, but it makes the data so much easier to use.

Re: Download statistics after a webcast

I was just going to use the script I wrote to grab the data from a recent meeting using the webcast platform and my error states "Authorization has been denied for this request." I guess they may have picked up on us using it :D Probably moot anyway now that we've been asked to move to oth...

Re: Download statistics after a webcast

I understand the need for Zoom accounts, but I really think the webcasting platform is the best platform for most cases as it is the most non-interactive platform we can use. Especially from a Building, since you would be doing a webinar anyway with just the host (chapel) as the stream, it would mak...

Re: Download statistics after a webcast

I've created a created something that I use to download the data. Since there wasn't an API, I utilize another method to download the data and it provides me an output which currently I copy and paste to excel, but I'm going to add a button to make it a csv. When I get it posted, I'll provide a link...

Re: Running multiple Sacrament Meetings from multiple buildings

With a recent email I received which asked us to only use the Church Webcasting platform for meetings with 500+ attendees, with the provided Zoom Accounts the church supplied, we have moved over to using Zoom Webinars which have worked well. With setting them up as recurring meetings, it makes it si...

Re: Running multiple Sacrament Meetings from multiple buildings

Yeah, our stake has been very open in letting Wards decide how they want to do it (some use a mix of Zoom and Youtube, some just 1 or the other), but I think it would be best to bring them all together into the same platform. The reason I want this is because we aren't sure that Wards are truly dele...

Re: Running multiple Sacrament Meetings from multiple buildings

davidbowmanbyu, did you happen to figure out how to use Zoom and stream to the webcasting platform? I have tested it, and it requires a paid account to use the feature, but it works. Plus having the paid for account, you are given so many more options, like being able to restrict anyone from unmutin...

Re: Running multiple Sacrament Meetings from multiple buildings

I'll get some pictures of it once I have it completed again, I tore it apart to make some modifications to the case, just finishing the model so I can print it.

Re: Running multiple Sacrament Meetings from multiple buildings

I saw the price of the teradek's and it made me cringe, especially in this time, as its been asked that Wards and Stakes reduce costs of items like this, or use what members have. I started trying to figure out a way to mimic the teradek and i've actually used about $100 worth of parts and my 3d pri...
