Re: Mi Box S and bluetooth

Thank you for the Restricted Mode Info. I see now why they ship it this way, it is way quicker to setup, and like you said it does shut off the bluetooth. I do recommend testing your setup when ever doing any updates or deploying new units for Bluetooth pairing. I found that if restricted mode does ...

Mi Box S and bluetooth

Built two of these and they worked really well at our Stake Conference this weekend. Only issue we ran into surprisingly was at one of the sites two different individuals trying to connect to the disconnected Wifi tried pairing with the MiBox over the Bluetooth. Which of course displayed their phone...

Re: Mi Box S beta program

Interesting comments, I'm trying to be a bit more organized, as you know it makes our calling a little easier when things are packaged together in kits. For a case I might recommend a simple shoe box 6 quart storage container or maybe a little larger. For me It depends on the building: First buildin...

Re: Mi Box S beta program

So for a travel case, maybe something like like a BUMB Universal travel cable organizer. Like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078M7MTFD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I picked a couple sizes up on prime day to test out for organizing adapters for the libraries, but fou...

Re: Mi Box S beta program

One more final note, if we have sit-ins that regularly view conference, it might be nice to have a device approved device we can either checkout or give a code to use for sit-in members. Again to simplify support where the member is more then willing to check it out or even purchase the device for t...

Re: Mi Box S beta program

This solution looks very appealing. Some things I'd like to see in the final version of the app and solution: - An app that can be downloaded or side loaded to android TV devices (but with recommended hardware) - Ability to change the URL - or Site the device is receiving for - For example if used t...

Re: D80 Camera Discontinued

We use two PTZoptics cameras controlled with a HuddleCam joystick. You do get what you pay for, and our solution is a lot easier to manage then what we had in the past. However we do regional training and more from our location so not just Stake Conference. I would rather have reliable equipment in ...

Re: Networked PTZ Camera with

The delay is what I'm most worried about. We currently use Sony hdr cx220s with a PT mount. Using 4 wired remotes to control PTZ. Sony now has limited support for wired remotes. I'm going to test the new multi term remote to see how far away I can control the zoom, but it will require some cable spl...

Re: conference call service?

i was going to say paying for a month of uberconference is the best. $20 and you get a dedicated toll free number to call in and no codes and less joining and leaving noise.
