Re: LCRF Proxy Not Setup

This is the reply I got from the Global Service Center

Here are some resolution steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

- Use Chrome
- Go on settings>advanced>clear cache and cookies

Worked like a charm.

Re: LCRF Proxy Not Setup

I'm having the same issue (have had it for about a month). I called Global Support yesterday and it was elevated to Tier II support. I was told they would get back to me in about 48 hours. It might be worth calling in. I would guess that the more examples they get of the problem, the easier it will ...

Re: Take funds to bank

Having reviewed the linked discussions, I will add that I agree with other statements that there is room for interpretation. What's more, I would argue that this is an area where a balance must be struck between the need to secure the deposit and the burden placed on those delivering it to the bank....

Re: Gossip from a FM guy

Our newest meetinghouse (about four years now) had remote thermostats installed. It was so hot the first Sunday (air conditioning would not come on and it was 98 outside) that we canceled meetings for all three wards. The person we finally contacted in Salt Lake apologized that he was not able to a...

Re: 11 year old primary children's transition

Thank you. My anxiety level just went down some (from 0.2 to 0.1, on a scale of one to ten).

Re: 11 year old primary children's transition

I know this is a premature question, and one for which there may be no answer. But hey, it's worth a shot. Do any of the Church employees know if LCR is already configured to allow limited-use recommends to be issued to the 11 year old going into Young Men or Young Women? We have three youth in this...

Re: 11 year old primary children's transition

We discussed this wIth our ward council (another way of saying, nothing official here) and concluded that the choice should reside with the child first, with the parents' guidance. If that means sometimes in primary and sometimes not, so be it. The vast majority of the time, we expect the child will...

Re: Name Change

You may need to use the help page for LDS Account. I had a case this year where a woman had been married, divorced, and remarried. A name change was effected on her membership record each time. Still, the last name on her LDS Account was her married name from the first record. When I reached out for...

Re: API for Directory Web App

Did you trust that clerks, bishoprics and RS/EQ presidencies would use the CSV exports from MLS appropriately before? (I did...). This is really no different than that. I did not have any issue with leaders using the export file for use in tasks that lived on the local computer. I also don't have a...

Re: API for Directory Web App

An ExternalUsageID field is still a personal you identifying field as long as it can be exported with other identifying information. It doesn't have to be derived from personal information to qualify as "protected data." MLS used to have a compromise in the membership export file that gave...
