Re: Recognizing Privacy When Printing a Directory
I appreciate the comments. However, the original post intentions was to simply remind clerks of the capability of the directory feature in LDS.ORG. My purpose was not to try and cover all the bases or possibilities. But rather to encourage the creation of rosters that are to be distributed to the ge...

Recognizing Privacy When Printing a Directory
Directory Distribution to Membership.pdf The attached document was created for my own stake as a guideline in creating membership lists. It is not to be considered policy rather suggestion. Graphics were obtained from the LDS.ORG Directory Helps. Wards and Stakes often create membership lists for t...

Re: Removing A User Who's Moved
How do I remove a user who's been released from his calling and moved out of the ward? His MLS user account has been set to Inactive and is no longer associated with anyone in the ward. Is this a task for Global Support? If there are any transactions associated with the user then you can't delete t...

I don't consider myself a great speaker. In fact, I'd have to guess that the vast majority of the members of the church are NOT comfortable enough with their speaking ability to invite their friends to hear them. I much prefer the pass-along cards to invite friends to church cultural events, such as...

I just did a quick check of the YW broadcast and repeated my earlier speed of ~175 KB/Sec. My earlier test was made around 10:00 PM west coast time. It's currently 10:45 AM west coast time. It would appear that my downloads are stable and repeatable. Interesting how others are getting significantly ...

Thanks for the responses. In summary: I can adjust the time up the hour if I'm careful to not change the date, with no problem. I can only assume that the timezone correction software has never been installed, so I'll follow up with the STS. My other option is to just wait another week and it will c...

MLS Time Change
I understand that making a system date change in a computer that is used for the MLS program can result in MLS problems, how does one go about making a small correction in time without shooting oneself in the foot? We have a computer at the stake level that's used for MLS (stake system) and the comp...
