Re: Clerk printing / bishopric involved
Same thing, oldest message 2013 and no Presiding Bishopric. I would not have guessed that a Temple Recommend related message would have come from the Presiding Bishopric but it’s possible.

Re: Clerk printing / bishopric involved
If there was an instruction or direction addressing the same issue in the handbook I’d most certainly support that. In this case there is no revision of contradiction of the topic and I’m not ready to say the instruction is no longer valid, especially since stake clerks can still see it. At this poi...

Re: Clerk printing / bishopric involved
That’s not the one I was looking for. A stake clerk sent me a screenshot but I don’t see a way to attach it to this post. The message is dated December 22, 2001 titled “Delivering Temple Recommends to Members”.

Re: Clerk printing / bishopric involved
Evidently your LCR level of access affects what communications you can see. Two of my Stake Clerk friends see a letter from December 23, 2001 but as a ward clerk I don’t see any communication on that date.
What I don’t understand is why I was able to see the communication earlier.

Re: Clerk printing / bishopric involved
Can anyone here, holding a locally printed recommend, verify that the handling instruction is there?

Clerk printing / bishopric involved
I remember reading that when a clerk prints a recommend that it needs to be given to a member of the bishopric and they watch as the member signs. Can anyone help me find a reference for that guidance?

Re: record/record number
The member list in LCR, I'm able to view his profile and he has a membership number but not on any primary class list.
I didn't realize that they were assigned a membership record if they are just added to a household

record/record number
There is a child in our ward that doesn't show up on the nursery roles. He is on our ward list and has a membership number but doesn't list a blessing date. I clicked the option to print a blessing certificate and LCR tells me that a record needs to be created. How is it possible for him to have a m...

Re: stake counselors presiding in ward meetings.
The area authority that was in our ward was told directly by an apostle that he was to sit on the stand and preside unless a general authority was present. He attended the ward and would sit on the stand about once a month but always stayed away from our stake conference, he was most likely on assig...

Re: "Send a Message" Function on LCR
The bottom line is if the church wanted it to happen, it would be an included function in LCR.
