Continuing Development
Just an update on LDS Meeting Manager. Tcpaki (previous post) has taken an interest and is furthering the project. He's rebased it on a bunch of common libraries. I am looking forward to see where its at soon. He's sent me some screen shots of the re-based UI - it looks nice

Phone call reminder
Though with the telephone most people have dealt with a computer in their life (might be annoying but for a reminder that might be ok). Though you might want to check witht he high councilmen and there families before if they would might being called by a computer. True, but do we want stake/ward c...

Voip?
To solve it, I was considering writing a telephony IVR program. I haven't seen any discussion here about telephony - any thoughts? My stake president was not entirely enthusiastic, mostly because he was unsure whether it would be allowed. My experience is that people who don't have computers are no...

Servers or Code
I'm not sure this would be a deployment issue regarding which server the code is on.
This type of error, in my experience is simply the JSPs are pointing to the wrong favicon. file.
Is the same code running on new servers showing a different favicon?

Not Just Admin
Yes I am a Bishop, so I've given myself admin authority. However, I am not on the administrator page.
I had my wife try to login also (she is not an admin) and noticed that the Netscape favicon is ever-present on the LUWS session, not just in the calendar..
This should be an easy fix.

Favicon in LUWS Calendar
I get the old Netscape icon rather than the usual Christus in my browser as the favicon. Is this intentional?

Details?
Any chance we can see a snapshot of the menu as it stands today? It would be nice to have a look at what the church considers appropriate in each of menu categories.

Goal Acheivement
The goal is a great one. We are getting a number of bright people here, it will be great to "put us to work" rather than just sharing ideas and banter. In order to include the number of users you hope to join LDSTech, I hope the workshops will be online workshops, not in person where only ...

OO Usage in Units
In the past we've included OpenOffice on the MLS desktop image because it was free and seemed like a decent throw-in, given the price. We haven't done a ton of analysis to see how much it's being used, but I suspect it's not used a whole lot. In our unit anyway, we use the Word Processor to type an...
