Re: Mormon Channel (and others) for Apple TV

We have gotten quite hooked on being able to rely on the Mormon Channel App on Sundays to stream Sunday appropriate music (not to mention other days as well). It would be so nice to just tap the app on AppleTV and be ready to go. Just wanted to put in a plug for Mormon Channel to be in the AppleTV A...

Re: Mormon Channel (and others) for Apple TV

Don't suppose there is a way to put a word into the ear of the overseers?

Re: Mormon Channel (and others) for Apple TV

Also - I will add that two other apps make sense as well. Gospel Library (which may be a bit tougher to port to this new platform), and also Family Tree. I can't imagine a scenario where LDSTools would be practical on the big screen.

Re: Mormon Channel (and others) for Apple TV

I'll chime in for the desire for an AppleTV (tvOS) app. Just got my new AppleTV this past week and the very first thing I went to look for in the App Store was the Mormon Channel. I was sad to see it wasn't already there, but completely understand. This platform is going to explode in popularity as ...

Re: Apple Watch

I would agree that the best use case for the Apple Watch or any other watch would be as an extension to LDS Tools. Some of the things that would be usefull would be.. Maps to find someone's home in the ward, HT/VT Reminders, Member Info such as Calling, Phone, Address (to maps) and LDS.or Profile Pi...

Scout Committee Chair and Committe Callings

Up until about 3 months ago, our Scout Committee was all listed in MLS and appeared under the YM in a section called "Scouting". We had myself (the committee chair) and about 6 other committee members. Now that whole section is gone and I don't even have that calling listed under my name a...

Re: Full Time Missionaries Scheduling Building

A building scheduler should be able to set "restrictions" for whatever location they are listed for. Agreed, this may not be the best approach. Being a High Councilor myself, I don't want to put another thing on our HC over Missionary work's list. Having the Mission Office staff responsibl...

Full Time Missionaries Scheduling Building

We have given building access to the full time missionaries in our new area (the new Gilbert, Arizona Mission). We have very thorough use of the LDS.org calendar for scheduling of ALL use of buildings. I would like to give the Mission Office the ability to schedule our buildings for use by the full ...
