Re: OBS vs ATEM or both?

There are newer ATEMs with built in streaming so there is no need for OBS or a Teradek. Example for under $300 is the Blackmagic ATEM Mini.

Re: Using Tabernacle Choir YouTube videos for Virtual Stake Conference Webcast Music

Also, is there an easy way to overlay a title onto the MP4 videos we are using for the prelude like "Meeting will start at 10:00 a.m."? If you run the video through a mixer like a BlackMagic ATEM this is easy and you can also add speaker titles like they do for general conference. Baring ...

Re: TM enhancements

@craiggsmith, You can select a portion of the latency & loss graphs to zoom in. This doesn't work on the pie charts though and what I really need is a bandwidth utilization graph (upload and download). I would also like the ability to turn off the wi-fi just during our sacrament meetings. The bi...

Re: Church Webcasts using YouTube Live Streams

My stake has been using Youtube live for a few weeks now with great success. We are using laptops with 2 USB ports and one Ethernet port -- one for a webcam mounted right in front of the podium and one for a USB audio adapter, pulling the audio from the line-out jack under the Sacrament table. Re: Sharing our experience with Virtual Sacrament Meeting Broadcasts

I've been putting together notes on how I put the entire setup together here https://github.com/TechnoSwiss/broadcast_pi I've been following this to build an identical system and hopefully enhance it to address the need to pause the stream with a simple web interface. I've run into a problem with t...

Re: Sharing our experience with Virtual Sacrament Meeting Broadcasts

I just tested zoom to the church broadcast system and it was fairly easy to setup. I used a $15/month account. Here are quick instructions: Login to Zoom and enable Custom Live Streaming Service: 1) Sign in to the Zoom web portal. 2) Click Account Management > Account Settings. 3) Under "In Mee...
