Jtech Encoder and Zoom / YouTube

With the end of the church webcast system coming in the future, I am looking into other options. The Jtech encoder has made it so simple to setup and run meetings. Is there anyway to use the Jtech encoder with Zoom or YouTube, without having to login to it and update links, like is possible with the...

Re: Notice to STS - Using Zoom Webinars...

I completely feel the pain of moving away from the church webcast system. My stake was struggling with the complexity, until I came across this post. https://tech.churchofjesuschrist.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=37546&hilit=Jtech The instructions in this post create a system identical to w...

I purchased one of the Jtech Encoders, mentioned in the first post of this thread.

Are you using the digital enhancement? When I tried that I got a really loud squeal and it sounded way to roboticy. I have since purchased a cheap booster and it seems to work great.

What audio booster did you purchase?

Re: Simple Fully Automated worship webcast with Meetinghouse Webcast

We have a 100MB up and 100MB down fiber connection coming into our building. I've never done much streaming of anything and am still learning. What would be the best target encode rate?

Re: Church provides a new Zoom Account to local units

Research and learn how to use breakout rooms which will allow all meetings to be held at once and can allow members to go between rooms. I can't believe that thought didn't cross my mind. I teach 4th grade professionally and have been using Zoom on almost a daily basis since the end of March. I use...

Re: Church provides a new Zoom Account to local units

This is great news. When I told my bishop about this, he wondered how many meetings the account would be able to host concurrently. Basically, would this account be able to have multiple meetings going on at the same time? Today we had about 5 meetings (2 priesthood, 2 young women, and relief societ...

Re: Simple Fully Automated worship webcast with Meetinghouse Webcast

The last couple weeks, I have ran across an interesting issue using this setup. By the end of our broadcast today the audio and video were out of sync by almost 5 seconds. Any ideas on how we can adjust things to make the audio and video stay in sync?

Re: Simple Fully Automated worship webcast with Meetinghouse Webcast

I found the setting in the encoder to boost the audio. Fingers crossed that things go well today.

Re: Simple Fully Automated worship webcast with Meetinghouse Webcast

I had a faulty connector on my network cable. Once I swapped out the cable it worked great.

I have my stream working now, however, the audio is very quiet. It is connected to the sound in the building through the line out port. How can I increase the volume being provided to the webcast system?
